About Suzanne

With over 27 years of experience in hiring, building, and leading high-performing teams, Suzanne brings a deep understanding of what decision-makers are truly looking for when selecting the right candidate.

She has spent decades not only evaluating talent, but developing it—supporting individuals to communicate their strengths, values, and character in a way that builds trust and confidence. Her approach is grounded in real-world experience, having been hired to recruit, assess, and assemble teams where performance, accountability, and culture matter.

Suzanne is recognized for her ability to balance strong leadership with genuine human connection—bringing both insight and intuition to her work. She leads with a thoughtful, people-centered approach, helping individuals bring forward the best version of themselves so they can represent who they are with clarity and confidence.

Suzanne has also served as a judge for Business Excellence Awards for over 20 years and has been recognized with multiple Customer Service and Service Excellence awards, including Businesswoman of the Year. These experiences have shaped her ability to identify what sets individuals apart—not just in skill, but in how they show up, communicate, and contribute to a team environment.

At the core of her work is a strong belief in the capacity of people. Suzanne sees potential in others, often before they see it in themselves, and is deeply committed to helping individuals step into that potential with confidence, clarity, and authenticity.

Beyond her professional work, Suzanne is deeply committed to community. She has been actively involved with Canuck Place Children’s Hospice, contributing to initiatives that have helped raise over $5 million in support of children and families facing life-threatening illnesses. This work reflects the same values she brings into her coaching—empathy, compassion, and a genuine commitment to helping others succeed.

Suzanne’s coaching is not about creating scripted answers. It is about helping candidates understand themselves, communicate with authenticity, and demonstrate the qualities that truly matter in service-based professions.

She believes that while roles and responsibilities matter, how you treat people matters just as much and it is this balance that defines both strong candidates and exceptional team members.

  • Suzanne was instrumental in my success with the Firefighting interview process. She is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and truly has a passion for helping others achieve their goals. With this being my first time going through a formal interview process I was nervous and unsure of what to expect, but with Suzanne's expertise, she was able to help me articulate my interview responses by gathering examples from my personal experiences that directly correlate with the departments values. Suzanne also makes each session personable, she tailors each session to your specific needs and goes above and beyond to make sure you are feeling confident and prepared going into your interview.
